SUNGAI BULOH FALLS - 08/24/2013

When we talk about waterfall in Sungai Siput (U), people will pointing at Lasah territories, but not many knows that just behind the town lies small waterfall descend from Kledang Saiong Range but the spoil side the waterfall lies inside palm oil plantation. First information I gathered from Sungai Siput (U) e-komuniti website (according to this website it also known as Lata Senkang) and finally I saw the first ever photo of the waterfall in black and white posted in Sungai Siput Facebook group. Just decided to try my luck and headed towards Sungai Siput (U) by motorcycles which not advisable to those in late 30's (your butt will cramp). We manage to get help from some auntie and uncle at the Chinese temple nearby the school, really helpful.. though we are wearing golok they seems they're not afraid to shed some information. If you're heading from Kuala Kangsar to Sungai Siput (U), you won't miss this arch, entrance to Chinese Village of Sungai Buloh. Follow the road beside the newly built double rail track until your reach this school. Notice the hill at the back, there where the waterfall lies. Then you will reach, newly built Sungai Siput (U) railway station. After the railway station nearby the Chinese temple there is bridge crossing small river, turn right using the road and follow the road which is along the river to the end until you reach the edge of palm oil plantation.
